Student of the Month

Congratulations to April's Student of the Month, Elyssa Hernandez! Elyssa's teachers had wonderful things to say about her. Elyssa is a very good student. She is responsible, respectful, kind, always gets her assignments done and turned in and never has been a disruption in any of my classes. I think she would be the best candidate on this list for student of the month. Elyssa Hernandez 1000% Elyssa Hernandez is my choice for student of the month. She is a student who wants to learn. She helps others in the class who are struggling and tries to teach them to support me. Elyssa has earned an "A" all 4 quarters in math. She turns in all her work, she asks questions, she tries, she truly wants to succeed in math. I am proud of her learning this year and she has a bright future ahead of her! Congratulations, Elyssa! We are very proud of you.

Congratulations to our Employee of the Month for April, Mr. Dawson. Mr. Dawson is one of our building substitutes. He is here every day with a smile. His positivity and smile are always present. Mr. Dawson is given so many different classes and performs his duties without complaint. The students that have positively commented about Mr. Dawson are too many to count. Mr. Dawson, we appreciate you!

PSSA and Keystone Schedule

CAIHS Families,

Below are the dates for the upcoming PSSA and Keystone Testing in the Spring. This year only students who are assigned to take the yearly exams will be coming to school that day. The students who are not assigned to take a test that day will have a virtual day. They are expected to complete the assignments on their Teachers Canvas page. For example, when 8th grade is taking the PSSA test the 9th grade students will be at home on a virtual school day. Each student will be notified what days they are to attend for testing. The only day that all students will come to school is the day of the Keystone Literature test, because we only have a few students taking the exam.

May 16: Keystone Literature Section 1 and 2 (All 8th and 9th grade students will be in school this day)

May 17: Keystone Algebra Section 1 and 2

May 19: Keystone Biology Section 1 and 2
